Shipping & Returns
Note 'free shipping does not include international destinations, Alaska or Hawaii'. Also, there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Also please Note: Listed shipping rates on the website are the current UPS list rates including any discount associated with Summit Media and Plotterpaper.com.
Orders will ship from the closest location to your address when possible. We ship products from California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington State.
Sales Tax: Due to the Wayfair vs South Dakota Ruling. We are now collecting Sales Tax on all order shipped into California, Georgia and North Carolina. We expect this to increase over time as more and more state require economic nexus to be fulfilled. If you are tax exempt, please be aware that a valid sales and use tax certificate form will have to be filed prior to order processing so sales tax can be removed from any order place. We will also have to verify the information to make sure it is valid to protect us from future issues with the taxing authorities.
Most orders are shipped the same business day or within 1-2 business days (business days do not include weekends or holidays). Our standard shipping is FedEx and UPS Ground , the carrier choice will be based on best rate for the free shipping option. We can not ship to PO Boxes. UPS Next-Day Air and 2nd Day Air service is available, however in order for us to meet your deadline and expedite the order it must be received or called in before 1p.m. on that business day for processing, Call (800-205-6783) for customer service to ensure we can meet your delivery time frame for your shipment. Next-Day Air shipment will typically arrive in 1-2 business days depending on the shipping option you choose. Freight shipments do not include inside delivery, there would be additional fees associated for inside deliveries, that do not fall under our free freight option. You will be contacted before your order ships to discuss this option.The only exception is if your location has a truck high dock and the driver can off load into the building.
Customer accepts sole responsibility for freight and insurance, payment of any and all applicable tax, with respect to the order. Please call our customer service at (800-205-6783) if you have any questions about other shipping options.
All damages on shipments must be reported with in 5 days of receipt. Any damage not reported with in this time frame will be denied for replacement, due to Fed Ex and or UPS claims processing.
We observes the following Holidays and will not process or ship any orders on the following days. Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year Day.
Shipping Cut off times:
Order received before 1p.m est. will be processed that same day and with the exception of any kind of hold, credit card hold, inventory issues, etc. Will be shipped within 24 hrs of placement. We strive to provide timely delivery of your orders but if you have any questions regarding your order please contact customer service at (800-205-6783) during normal business hours.
International orders are not accepted at this time, but we hope to be able to service you in the future.
Returns and Refunds:
We will gladly accept returns for our sales order errors or miss-shipments caused by our errors, provided the customer contacts us and returns the item(s) within five business days. All returns must be in their original factory sealed boxes.
Item(s) ordered in error by the customer:
Customers must call for a RMA #(returns merchandise authorization), and instructions on where to ship the product(s) freight prepaid by the customer, prior to shipping item(s).
Refunds will be in the same form of as payment originally used minus a 20% restocking fee within 3 to 4 weeks of our receiving the return.
No packages can be accepted without a PlotterPaper.com RMA # number. (call 800-205-6783 between 9am - 6pm EST to get an RMA number)For faster service, please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, serial number and nature of the problem. All products returned MUST: be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. We must receive product within TEN (10) DAYS of RMA for you to receive proper credit. HP and Kodak Products are non-returnable.
Title and risk of loss or damage during shipment pass to buyer upon consignment to the carrier for delivery. It is the buyer's responsibility to check shipments for freight damage prior to accepting the shipment from the carrier and to reject any damaged items. Should the buyer accept damaged items, it will be the buyer's responsibility to file a claim with the freight carrier for damages caused by the carrier.
Warranties and Liability:
Products sold by us are covered under the respective manufacturer's warranty for that product. Defective product policies will be as determined by the product manufacturer. The buyer is required to return defective items to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
The buyer of the product is fully responsible for determining if the product is suitable for its intended use or purpose. The Buyer shall look to the manufacturer for any product liability claims and hold us harmless from any product claims. We shall not be liable under any circumstances for breach of warranty or others damages as a result of products manufactured by others and sold by us.
